Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Hisham al-Dastawa’i, who said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, who said: Abu Salamah narrated to us, that he asked ‘Aishah: "Did the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sleep while he was in a state of major ritual impurity (junub)?" She said: "Yes, and he would perform his ablution (wudu) for prayer."
