Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:70

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Ubayd Allah, from Muslim ibn Sabih, who said: I saw Ibn Umar performing ablution three times [for each part], then he wiped his head and his ears.
