Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ash’ath, from al-Hasan, who said: If a person becomes in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) and does not have with him enough water to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with, he said: He performs tayammum.
