Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Jabir, from ‘Amir, who said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to put their hands into the vessel while they were in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), and the women while they were menstruating, and they did not see any harm in that, meaning before they washed them.
