Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:901

Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, from Zubayd ibn al-Salt, that Umar ibn al-Khattab washed what he saw, and sprinkled water on what he did not see, and repeated [the prayer] after it had become morning, while he was settled.
