927. Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr al-Hadrami, that he sent to Aisha and asked her about the cushion upon which a man has intercourse: "May one recite the Mushaf (Quran) upon it?" She said: "What prevents you from that? If you see it, wash it; and if you wish, scrape it; and if it makes you suspicious, sprinkle it."
