Hafs narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu Ja'far, who said: The Muhajirun—Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali—agreed that whatever necessitates the two limits, the limit (flogging) and stoning, necessitates Ghusl (ritual bathing).
