Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 1:961

961. Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from al-Hakam, from Dhakwan, from Abu Sa'id, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) passed by a man from the Ansar and sent for him. He came out while his head was dripping. He said, "Perhaps we hastened you?" He said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "If you are hastened or [if you are in a state of hardship], then upon you is the ablution (wudu), and there is no ritual bath (ghusl) upon you."
