Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:145

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Mujalid, from ‘Amir, from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah, from ‘Ali, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Allah has cursed the one who marries a divorced woman to make her lawful for her former husband (al-muhallil) and the one for whom she is made lawful (al-muhallal lahu)."
