Hadith 35:233

Sharik narrated to us, from Qays ibn Wahb, from a man from Banu Saw'ah, who said: I said to Aisha, "Inform me about the character of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." She said, "Do you not read the Quran? 'And indeed, you are of a great moral character.'" She said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was with his companions. I made food for him, and Hafsa made food for him. Hafsa beat me to it. She said: So I said to the slave girl, "Go and overturn her bowl." She said: She reached to place it before the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and she overturned it. The bowl broke and the food scattered. She said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, gathered it and the food that was on the ground, and they ate. Then he sent for my bowl and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, handed it to Hafsa and said, "Take a vessel in place of your vessel, and eat what is in it." She said: And I did not see [any anger] in the face of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
