Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:280

'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, who said: Ibn al-Zubayr only made the guarantee period for slaves three days because of the saying of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) to Munqidh ibn 'Amr. He said: "There is no deception. When you sell a sale, you have the choice for three [days]."
