Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:30

Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Urwah, from al-Miswar ibn Makhramah and Marwan, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), in the year of al-Hudaybiyyah, went out with more than a thousand of his companions. When he was at Dhu al-Hulayfah, he garlanded the sacrificial animals, marked them, and entered into the state of Ihram.
