Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Ibn Sirin, who said: Ibn Mas‘ud and Hudhayfah spent the night in conversation with al-Walid ibn ‘Uqbah. Then they both went out and debated/challenged one another. When they reached the morning, each one of them performed one rak‘ah.
