Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:370

Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Ibn Sirin, that Ibn Mas'ud borrowed a beast. It was brought to him, and upon it was a covering (saddlecloth) with the markings of leopards. He removed it, then he mounted.
