Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:405

Sharīk narrated to us, from Hilāl al-Wazzān, from ‘Abd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Laylā, who said: When the Prophet (peace be upon him) would miss the four [rak‘ahs] before the noon prayer (ẓuhr), he would pray them after it.
