Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:423

Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Rafi', who said: Marwan appointed Abu Hurayrah as his deputy over Medina and went out to Mecca. Abu Hurayrah led us in the Friday prayer, and he recited Surah al-Jumu'ah in the first prostration (rak'ah), and in the last one, "When the hypocrites come to you" (Surah al-Munafiqun). 'Ubayd Allah said: I caught up with Abu Hurayrah when he finished, and I said: "You recited two surahs that 'Ali, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite in Kufa." Abu Hurayrah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, reciting them."
