Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:424

Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, from people of the people of Medina—I think among them was Abu Ja'far—who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite in the Friday prayer Surah al-Jumu'ah and [Surah] al-Munafiqun. As for Surah al-Jumu'ah, he would give glad tidings to the believers through it and encourage them. And as for Surah al-Munafiqun, he would cause the hypocrites to despair through it and rebuke them.
