Hadith 35:479

Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, Ma'ruf narrated to us, Hafsa bint Talq, a woman from the tribe, narrated to me in the year ninety, from her grandfather Abu 'Amira Rashid ibn Malik, who said: I was sitting with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, one day, when a man came with a tray upon which were dates. He said, "What is this? Is it charity or a gift?" The man said, "Rather, it is charity." So he presented it to the people, and al-Hasan was playing in the dust before him. He took a date and put it in his mouth. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, looked at him, then inserted his finger into his mouth and removed it. Then he said, "We, the family of Muhammad, do not eat charity."
