Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Husayn ibn Waqid, who said: Abdullah ibn Buraydah narrated to me, from his father, that when Salman arrived in Medina, he came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) with a gift on a tray and placed it before him. He (the Prophet) said: "What is this?" Then he mentioned it at length.
