Hadith 35:85
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Amr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Umar, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) separated the two who performed *li'an* (mutual cursing). He (the man) said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about my wealth?" He said, "You have no wealth. If you were truthful, then it is because of what you made lawful of her private parts. And if you were a liar, then that is further away from her for you." And he mentioned that Abu Hanifah said: He may marry her if he declares himself a liar.
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو عن سعيد بن جبير عن بن عمر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فرق بين المتلاعنين فقال يا رسول الله مالي فقال لا مال لك إن كنت صادقا فبما استحللت من فرجها وإن كنت كاذبا فذاك أبعد لك منها وذكر أن أبا حنيفة قال يتزوجها إذا كذب نفسه
