Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 35:93

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Isma'il, from al-Sha'bi, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, returned her to him with the first marriage contract. And he mentioned that Abu Hanifa said: The marriage is to be initiated anew.
