Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Dawud, he said: I asked al-Hasan and Muhammad about selling the *‘ata’* (stipend/allowance). They both said: "Sell it for goods."
