Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1042

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: 'Abbad bin al-'Awwam narrated to us, from 'Umar bin 'Amir, from Qatadah, from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, regarding a man who gives charity and then inherits it. He said: "If the Book of Allah returns it to him, then there is no harm in it." He said: And Qatadah said: "Ibn Mas'ud used to say that."
