Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1059

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, who said: There is no harm if a man has a dirham [owed] against a man, and he comes to him and demands it, and he [the debtor] says: "Take in place of your right barley, or wheat, or dates, or something other than gold." He said: If his dirhams were a loan, then he may take in exchange for them whatever he wishes.
