Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1111

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Husayn, who said: I witnessed Shurayh, and a man came to him, and with him was his brother’s son, seeking help against him. The man said: "My brother’s son drinks excessively," alluding to wine. Shurayh said: "Withhold his wealth from him, and spend on him in a reasonable manner." And it was the case that the brother’s son had already grown his beard.
