Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1130

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Hisham, regarding the man who dies while he has a debt due at a later time. Ibn Sirin said: If the heirs provide security to the creditor, then they have the same term as their companion (the deceased). And al-Hasan said: If he dies, his debt has become due.
