Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1154

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Zam'ah, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, who said: "The hired worker shall not be hired except for known measures (afraq)."
