Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1160

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, from Ibn Sirin, that he used to like for it to be brought to him on platters, so they would take from it according to their need.
