Hadith 13:1229

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Tha'labah ibn al-Furat al-Ansari, who said: I sold a garment to some people and took a pledge from them against a fixed term. When the term arrived, I bought palm trees from them with the money they owed me, and I took possession of them and dried them on the tops of the palm trees. Some of it fell, so I took it. Then those who had sold it to me came to me and requested the dates from me, so I sold it back to them for a fixed term. People spoke much about that, so I asked Salim and narrated the story to him. He said: "Was it in your mind to sell it back to them?" I said: "No, by Allah, and it did not cross my heart." He said: "There is no harm." I also asked al-Qasim, and he said: "Was it in your mind to sell it back to them?" I said: "No, by Allah, and it did not cross my heart." He said: "There is no harm."
