Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah and Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman, from Abu Ja’far, he said: I asked him about sharecropping for a third or a quarter. He said: If you look at the family of Abu Bakr, the family of ‘Umar, and the family of ‘Ali, you will find them doing that.
