Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1286

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ammar ibn Yasir, from al-Walid ibn Abi al-Walid, from ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, he said: Zayd ibn Thabit said: May Allah forgive Rafi‘ ibn Khadij. By Allah, I am more knowledgeable of the hadith than him. Two men who had fought came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he said: "If this is your affair, then do not lease the farms." Rafi‘ heard his saying: "Do not lease the farms."
