Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1293

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Abdullah ibn al-Sa’ib, he said: I asked Ibn Ma’qil about sharecropping (al-muzara’ah). He said: Thabit ibn al-Dahhak informed me that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade it.
