Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1297

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Habib bin Abi Thabit, who said: I was sitting with Ibn Abbas in the Sacred Mosque when a man came to him and said: "We take land from the *Dahaqin* (landowners/chiefs), and I cultivate it with my own seeds and my own oxen, then I take my share and give him his share." He said to him: "Take your capital, and do not return to him any *‘ayn* (specific item/principal)." He repeated it to him three times, and each time he said to him the same thing.
