Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1325

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from al-Sha’bi, from Shurayh, regarding a man who permits his slave to incur debt. He said: He used to be of the opinion that he [the slave] should be sold for the creditors.
