Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1332

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from a man, from ‘Ata’, regarding a man who bought goods and found a defect in some of them. He said: He returns it and is obligated for what remains according to its value.
