Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1338

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Ibn Lahi'ah, from Khalid ibn Abi 'Imran, from al-Qasim and Salim, that he asked them about the *muqarid* (the manager of a profit-sharing partnership): "Does he eat, drink, clothe himself, and ride according to what is customary?" They said: "If it is within the cause of the *mudarabah* (profit-sharing partnership), then there is no harm."
