Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1343

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, who said: There is no pre-emption (shuf'a) for an absent person. And al-Harith used to hold that view.
