Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1369

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay’, from ‘Ata’, from Hizam ibn Hakim, he said: Hakim said to me: I bought food from the food of the charity (sadaqah), and I made a profit on it before I took possession of it. So I came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "Do not sell it until you take possession of it."
