Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1410

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs bin Ghiyath narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha'bi, that Umar bin al-Khattab had the wealth of an orphan, so he gave it out as a *mudaraba* (profit-sharing investment) in the sea.
