Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sahl ibn Yusuf narrated to us, from Sahl, from al-Hasan, that he disliked that the wealth of an orphan be given for *mudarabah* (profit-sharing investment). He would say: "Guarantee it, and do not expose it to land or sea."
