Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1418

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, from al-Hasan al-'Urani, a man from the people of Kufa, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall I strike my orphan?" He said: "Strike him with what you would strike your child with." He said: "Then what may I eat from his wealth?" He said: "With kindness, without accumulating from his wealth, and without protecting your wealth with his wealth."
