Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1432

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who hired out his slave for a year, then wanted to sell him. He said: He may sell him if he wishes.
