Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1438

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abda narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Aruba, from Abu Ma’shar, from Ibrahim regarding the trust (wadi’ah): There is no liability upon him unless he moves it from its place or changes it from its state. If he changes it from its place and there is profit in it, then he shall give it away in charity, and it does not belong to either of them.
