Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1462

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I said to my father: A man says, "I have measured in this *jābiyah* (large vessel/container) such and such *manns* (a unit of weight), and I do not know, perhaps it is deficient, or it was stolen, or the *jābiyah* was altered, or there was a mistake in it; I will not sell to you by measurement, rather I will sell to you by *juzāf* (bulk/estimation)." He said: Ibn Sirin used to dislike it, and al-Hasan saw no harm in it.
