Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1500

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha’bi, regarding the one who is given money to trade with (mudarib): The owner of the money said to him: "Do not go beyond such-and-such a place." He said: "He is liable if he goes beyond it."
