Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1518

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, that he used to see no harm in a man giving money to another man as *mudarabah* (profit-sharing partnership), on the condition that he carries merchandise for him or performs work for him.
