Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:154

Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha', who said: Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz wrote that the *sukna* (right of residence) is a loan. If he says, "It is for him and for his descendants," then it is for him and for his descendants as long as a woman remains among them. When they all pass away, it returns to his heirs.
