Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1573

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Husayn, that two men from the people of Al-Yass accepted Islam during the era of Umar. They came to Umar and informed him of their Islam. So he wrote to Uthman ibn Hunayf for them, that he should lift the jizya from their heads, and that he should take the tax (tasq) from their lands.
