Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Hasan ibn Salih, from Qays ibn Muslim, from Tariq ibn Shihab: That a female *dihqan* (landowner/official) from Nahr al-Malik accepted Islam. So ‘Umar wrote: "Give her the choice."
