Hadith 13:1601

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam, from his father, who said: They mentioned a man who is compelled to [eat] carrion or the wealth of a Muslim man. I said: He should eat the carrion. ‘Abd Allah ibn Dinar said: He should eat the wealth of the Muslim man. Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib said: You are correct. Indeed, carrion becomes lawful for him when he is compelled, but the wealth of a Muslim is not lawful for him.
